Macabre and Monstrous

A HORROR ANTHOLOGY OF ELDRItCH SPACE, MYTH MONSTERS & FOREST FRIGHTS

In Emily Armstrong’s debut Fell Plumes, space truckers Lark and Mech think they've scored the payday of a lifetime when they agree to transport mysterious crates to a remote facility at the edge of the known cosmos. In Salvager’s Loop, veteran salvager Corven makes one last scrapping run when he boards a derelict starship deep in uncharted space, but he soon discovers the ghostly void-lost vessel is caught in a nightmare outside of time.

KS Bishoff frightens in Harvest of Horror with a malevolent demon tree replacing townsfolk with eerie doppelgangers nurtured in the old gourd patch. As paranoia sweeps the community, fingers point at a lurking bogeyman. Can Tenya uncover the horrifying secret before the imposters usurp every last soul?

Mythpunk author Sapha Burnell hits as hard as a road flare with The Lamia, and Whiskey and Sinners Blood. Caleb Mauthisen runs wounded through the streets of Vancouver from a terrifying monster with the hunger of the damned. Descend into madness with Carolee, the Fae Queen’s assassin in an origin story twice as twisted as the obsidian knives Carolee inflicts on the unworthy in the Judge of Mystics Saga.

I’m a cyberpunk + mythpunk author & poet who focuses on cerebral and emotionally grounded works. A true -punk, I challenge norms and intertwine queerness and faith to envision a world on the brink of dystopia we can usurp and heal. I write strange fiction, play with super soldiers, AI and literal mythological gods in the cyberpunk Lieben Cycle and my upcoming mythpunk Judge of Mystics Saga.

NEON Lieben was dubbed ‘an insane diabolical rollercoaster’, and one reviewer said they never thought a work of science fiction could be so beautiful. My poetry collection Usurper Kings was dubbed ‘a work of gobsmackingly beautiful discovery’.

As an editor at a small press, I develop other authors’ manuscripts into works of speculative wonder.

Oh, and Dazz & Em are teaching me how to play TTRPG’s. Stay tuned… there may be a riot.

I'm an avid DND player since my US Air Force days, and a gamemaster since 1990. I've experienced the transition from Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (2nd Edition) to DND 3rd Edition and now enjoy playing DND5e.

With expertise in worldbuilding and creating tabletop RPG adventures, I'm currently working on my very own ttrpg ruleset, I call Meaty Bones, for two new immersive worlds where my novellas will also take place.

Over the years, I've honed my skills in plotting, crafting villains, and developing diverse minor characters. My adventure-building experience encompasses various types of quests, from dungeon delving and heists to rescues, exploration, and familial ties. I offer insights into creating authentic minor characters on the spot, along with tips for plot twists, traps, puzzles, mysteries, and intrigues.

Born and raised outside of New York City, I've always had a deep fascination with the bold, wyrd, and wacky. I started in the realm of music and sound production before shifting to post-production, where I honed my skills and discovered my passion for the captivating world of branding and marketing.

Motivated by this newfound interest, I dedicated myself to further studies in Florida, refining my expertise as a designer and editor. Today, I have over a decade of experience in the media industry, collaborating closely with clients to transform their creative visions into realities.

Currently, I'm immersed in the development of my tabletop role-playing game system called Quests & Quarrels. Within this system, I've crafted two award-winning realms—Beckettville, a comedic corporate dystopia, and Culinarypunk, a whimsical fork and saucery setting where food springs to life.
